In order to deliver the most important information to each user, SPS|PM provides a Workbench view. This view can be populated with various widget representing key project information and analytics. Each widget on the Workbench view provides current up-to-date information (as per the agreed control processes) and can be independently configured.
The following section explains how to access the Dashboard in SPS|PM as well as add, arrange, and modify items in the Workbench view.
Access Workbench
To access the Workbench view from any other view in SPS|PM such as the Lookahead view, from the Main Navigation Bar select the Workbench.
Configure Workbench Widgets
To personalize your Workbench, complete the steps below:
Arrange Workbench View
To arrange how widgets are displayed in the Workbench view complete the steps below:
- Click the configuration icon to arrange the widgets within the Workbench.
- Select the header within the widget you wish to move and slide the widget with your mouse or mousepad to the desired location.
- Select Done to return to the Workbench.
Add New Widget to Workbench
To add one or multiple widgets to the Workbench view complete the steps below:
- Click the configuration icon.
- Select Add Widget.
- Select the Widget from the list of those available for use.
- Select Done to return to the Workbench.
Remove a Widget from the Workbench
To remove a widget from the Workbench view complete the steps below:
- Click the configuration icon to configure the widgets within the Workbench.
- Select the icon to remove any Widget.
- Select Done to return to the Workbench
Note: Deletion of a widget from your Workbench will place the widget in the available options for use at a later time if desired.
