SPS|PM enables the ability to structure work for execution based on specific project requirements. SPS|PM’s base configuration includes one Work Structure that enables breaking work into seven different levels. However, depending on work complexity, two other independent Work Structures are available for use and can be enabled at any time, as needed. If your specific project configuration requires, but does not include these two additional Work Structures, contact your System Administrator.
The table below provides an example of how work can be structured if the three independent structures are enabled. An example using areas and systems is used for the second and third structures. Depending on your project, work may not need to be structured by areas and / or systems.

Note: Names of each Work Structure, as well as names of each level, can be customized through an established definition and configuration process.
In addition to the Work Structure(s), SPS|PM also enables the use of a series of attributes that can be assigned to tasks at any level of the Work Structure. These include a Team structure (Team, Member, Delegatee), Discipline / Trade, Company, Status and Type. With the exception of teams, attributes are non-hierarchal and can be independently selected to organize work in a certain way in support of optimization.
