Lookahead data supports project teams’ ability to engage in the Project Production Control processes of: Production Scheduling, Production Planning and Performance Improvement. In certain cases, it is necessary to utilize external data to initially populate the Lookahead, such as milestones from existing master schedules or even sequences of work defined through other means. To import data into SPS|PM, use the Import Function.
Throughout the implementation of Project Production Control, teams may need to export data from SPS|PM to perform detailed review and analysis of production analytics, generate mock-ups for customized reports or to import into an external system. In these cases, the SPS|PM Export Function is available to export any desired data.
