A task is Released-At-Risk when all non-completed predecessor tasks are either loaded on the Next Production Plan, or committed to the Current Production Plan. Before loading a Released-At-Risk task onto the Next Production Plan, it is important to consider whether both the predecessors and the Released-At-Risk tasks can actually be completed during the next production cycle. If the predecessor tasks cannot be completed during the next production cycle, do not load a Released-At-Risk task to the Next Production Plan. This is important to remember especially when predecessor tasks belong to other teams. All work should be collaboratively performed whether within a team or when working across multiple teams. A task owner may work on a Released-At-Risk task on the Current Production Plan, once all predecessor tasks are completed during the production cycle.

A task that is Released-At-Risk shows Rel-AR in the Status column and the task entry is displayed in green text.
